Dear 100 year old me

Write a letter to your 100-year-old self.

If you are reading this, or one of the kids are reading this to you, wow. A century on earth. We have seen some things haven’t we?.

Dear 100-year-old me, us,

I am writing this letter to you from the year 2023. I can hardly believe that you have made it to such a remarkable age. I am sure that you have lived a long and eventful life, and I hope that you have had many adventures along the way.

As I sit here writing to you, I can’t help but wonder what your life is like now. I am sure that you have seen many changes in the world, both good and bad. But no matter what has happened, I want you to know that everything is going to be okay.

I know you’re thinking, whose going to take care of the kids? They are fine and we probably have grandkids. I hope. The boys probably doing well if he stayed the path of day trading. Both girls probably became nurses after high school and did well in college softball. KD is Dr. Woods and penny is probably in dog heaven with our other dogs we’ve had.

You have lived through so much already, and you have proven time and time again that you are strong and resilient. I am sure that you have faced many challenges in your life, but you have always found a way to overcome them.

I hope that you are surrounded by people who love and care for you, and that you are happy and content with your life. Remember that you have lived through so many difficult times and have come out on the other side stronger and wiser. You have so much knowledge and experience to share with those around you, and I am sure that you continue to inspire and motivate others.

Even though I am writing to you from the past, I want you to know that I am proud of you and all that you have accomplished. You have made a difference in the world, and your legacy will live on for generations to come.

So, keep on living your life to the fullest, and remember that everything is going to be okay. You are an amazing person, and I am honored to be a part of your journey.

With love and admiration,

Your younger self.
