It’s a common experience, especially in today’s world of social media, where we’re bombarded with images of seemingly perfect lives and accomplishments. But how can we rate your confidence level and take steps to improve it? In this blog post, together we’ll explore some practical strategies and real-life examples to help you cultivate a stronger sense of self-worth.

Understanding the Confidence Conundrum

Let’s start by defining confidence. Per dictionary.com app: belief in oneself and one’s powers or abilities; self-confidence; self-reliance; assurance: Conundrum: riddle.

To start, it’s important to understand the confidence conundrum. On one hand, social media can be a great source of inspiration and connection with others. But on the other hand, it can also lead to feelings of inadequacy and self-doubt, as we compare ourselves to others and feel like we’re not measuring up. We don’t see the process, so I know I have come to moments of frustration wondering how is this person able to do that or this.

This was the case for Kelly, a young professional who felt like she was constantly falling short compared to her successful and glamorous colleagues on Instagram. She realized that this constant comparison was eroding her confidence and decided to take a break from social media and focus on her own accomplishments and goals.
